OUR MISSION is to develop strategies to reduce the risk of suicide and provide education to the community of Lebanon County through the collaborative efforts of service providers and agencies.
Suicide is a major public health problem in the United States. The overall suicide rate has declined over the past twenty years. But in Lebanon County, PA, 20 people have died from suicide in 2011. Previously, 12-15 per year died from suicide. These statistics are alarming and need to be addressed.
